Jesus

We believe Jesus is the one & only Son of God who died for our sins & rose from the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16

Trinity

We believe there is one God, the God of the Bible, who eternally exists in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), & the Holy Spirit. 1 Timothy 1:6; Ephesians 4:6; John 1:1-14; Genesis 1:1, 26-27, 3:22; Matthew 28:19; Psalm 90:2

Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It instructs us as to how God would have us live. Because its words originate with God, it contains no errors & is completely trustworthy in all things. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 19:7-11; Psalm 119

Salvation

We believe that those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, & be baptized (full immersion in water) into Him. We understand baptism to be the faith response God commands in order to receive the forgiveness of sins & the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38-41; Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 3:21-22

Prayer

We believe God hears & answers prayer. 1 John 5:14-15; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 66:19

Communion

We share in communion (the Lord’s Supper) each week & welcome other believers to share in it with us. Acts 2:42, 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Discipleship

We consider it a privilege to be called Christians. It’s a name that honors Jesus & can be traced back to first-century followers. Acts 11:26

The Church

We encourage unity among all Christians who together form the church. Ephesians 4; 1 Corinthians 12:14-26; John 17:20-23

2nd Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will one day return to earth & reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:9-11

Eternity

We believe that forgiveness of sins & the promise of eternal life are available to those who believe in Jesus & accept Him as their personal Savior & Lord. John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:15
